About Us
CLICKBASE PC CLUB is a precision PC gaming club on Queen Street in Brisbane. This is the fuller story of the place — why it exists, how the rooms differ, how a station gets tuned, and what a night on the floor actually looks like.
We built CLICKBASE around one clean click — the millisecond between the input and the shot. Everything in the room is arranged to protect that moment: the panel, the polling rate, the cable run, the light on the desk, the quiet in the bay. Nothing else gets a vote.
The precision ethos
Most clubs sell tiers — a faster seat, a slower seat, a premium chair. We do not. Every one of the thirty-two stations runs the same tuned build, so the seat you pick is about the room you want to be in, never the machine you happen to get. That single decision keeps things honest: you are paying for time on a good station, and a good station is the only kind we run.
Tidy is not decoration here, it is method. A clear desk means a full low-sens sweep with nothing to snag the mouse. Crisp teal light, low and even, means your eyes are not fighting glare across a four-hour block. Wired everything means no wireless hiccup between your hand and the game. Small things, stacked, add up to a room where your aim genuinely has no excuses.
Three rooms, one build
The fast side
Sixteen open stations with the widest desks and the fastest panels — the loud end of the club, where flicks land and rounds swing. Full mats for low-sens play and wired peripherals on every seat.
Quiet by design
Eight seats behind a low sound baffle for practice blocks and solo runs. Same build, softer room — made for aim routines, VOD review and ranked solo where headphones are optional.
Two seats, one surface
Four paired desks for co-op and side-by-side ranked, one clean surface each. Booked as a single seat, warmed up together, with a shared bench that keeps comms at a whisper.
How a station gets tuned
Tuning is the quiet work that happens before you sit down. Every station is set to run its panel at its full refresh, with frame pacing checked and background clutter stripped so the machine spends its cycles on your game and nothing else. Peripherals are wired, polling rates set high, and the desk laid out the same way on every seat so the muscle memory you build on one carries to the next.
What "tuned" means on our floor
- Panels driven at their full refresh, every seat
- Frame pacing and latency checked, not assumed
- Wired mouse and keyboard — no wireless lag
- High polling rates set and left alone
- Clean OS image, background clutter stripped
- Wide mats for full low-sens sweeps
- Identical desk layout across all 32 seats
- Sessions cleared between players
The crew
A small team runs each shift — setting up stations, keeping the room right, and pointing newcomers to a seat. There is no hard sell and no queue politics: if a machine acts up, tell us and move to another while we sort it. The crew on the floor has the final say on seating and conduct, and they use it to keep the room fair and the aim clean for everyone in it.
House rules, briefly
The room stays good because everyone keeps it that way. Food at the counter, drinks in lidded cups, no re-cabling or opening a station, and no filming other players without their say-so. Keep comms at a whisper in Focus Bay. Treat the crew and other players decently. It is a short list and it exists for one reason — so nothing gets in the way of the next player's click. The full detail lives on the Terms of Use page.
How a session runs
- Pick a room and a block on the booking form, or email the desk. We reply with a confirmation that holds your seat.
- Turn up during opening hours and give your name. The crew logs you in and warms the station.
- Play your block. Run over and seats allow? We extend at the standard hourly rate — just ask the desk.
- Pay at the desk on the way out. No account, no phone tag, nothing shipped.
